Tip of the Week - Pricing

“Am I asking the right questions?”

We have heard a lot of couples who tour ask this question with us and we want to help you out. If you feel like you have to ask questions a certain way… that could be a red flag!

It’s important to understand pricing and all of the ways it can be structured in the wedding venue industry. Looking at just their websites can be a tricky way to compare. For example, they may look like the same price at first but once they add on things like ceremony fee, pouring champagne, extra hours, getting ready access, chairs, glasses, staff, linens, etc.. it can totally be different than expected.

Here at 1883 Locale we keep our additional fees to a minimum and try to include everything we can.. why? So you aren’t confused, surprised or upset. We want you to know and value what you are paying for.

Authentic and upfront is always our goal. Here.. there is no way to ask a question.. no tricks.

If you are touring other venues ask to see what other additional costs you can expect to have are. Here are some questions to ask:

  1. Ask for a final invoice sample from a previous wedding.

  2. Ask what’s included and what’s NOT.

  3. Ask what the TOTAL investment usually is

The more you know, the better you’ll feel in your decision! ✨
