OUR BAR PACKAGES

Here at 1883 Locale we have our own liquor license and do not allow any outside alcohol into our facility. We require that every wedding purchases a beverage package in addition to their rental cost.

Things you should know:

  1. We have licensed staff that works hard to ensure safe consumption. This allow us to make sure your event is safe and fun! We also make sure we have enough staff to keep that bar line moving.

  2. No cash bars because we believe that 1883 couples are couples that want to be hospitable and guests aren’t required to bring in their wallet. Cash bars can also create long lines and wait times and we are all about doing things proficiently around here so you can get back on the dance floor.

  3. We serve high quality beverages and we are not your average venue bar. Just take a look at how beautiful it is. You will not find a venue around that lets your customize drinks and have this large of a selection.

  4. If you went to a restaurant you would spend an average of $11 a cocktail and $7 a beer. The average wedding guest drinks 5 beverages (Some drink none, one, 5, or 15). Our open bar package gives you and your guests the most affordable option to drink and the freedom to choose that priced higher drink you love to have occasionally. It all evens out at the end of the night and your guests enjoy the experience!

  5. We want you to have freedom to celebrate the whole day. Mimosas in the morning? You got it. It is all included in the per person packages. Champagne toast? INCLUDED! Glasses? Goblets, flutes. all of it.. It is included!

  6. Every one under 21 is automatically a non-alcohol packages and kids three and under are FREE.

  7. 75 people is our minimum so if under that guest count you would still pay for 75 people.

  1. Make yourself aware of everything we have to offer and require. Beverage package requirement, our max occupancy is 150 (which means an invited guest count of 200 invites would be a max because 20% of your guests do not attend), you choose your caterer, etc.

  2. Gather everyone who you desire to be with you for your tour and get scheduled below ASAP. We advise you to find a date that works in the next 2-5 days since available wedding dates change quickly!

  3. Do your homework. Ok this is not like homework, it is fun! Read through the brochures and contract that we send over after you schedule, read our website pages like the FAQ, Blog, Planning, etc. Come prepared with questions to make the most of your time with us.

  4. Arrive to your tour and remember to ask yourself questions to yourself like “Can I really see myself getting married here?” or “Does this venue help tell our story and make sense for us?” or “When someone walks in to this building do they think - WOW this is so them!”

  5. Make a decision that day for a special promotion, or lock in the date within 48 hours if we are your pick. Need more time? That is ok but we do not hold dates or guarantee the same price you toured with.

1883 Locale has a wedding arch you can use and lots of other decorations as well! The venue is in downtown Reynoldsburg, so we were concerned there would be a lack of good locations for photos, but we were so wrong! There are plenty of options for photos, both urban backdrops and natural backdrops, all within walking distance. We ended up loving our pictures!”
